The SANENDI Calcuim Hydroxyapatite Injectable implant is a steam-sterilized, latex free, pyregen-free, semi-solid, sticky and fully biodegradable implant for subcutaneous or deep injection. Its main ingredient is synthetic calcium hydroxyapatite, a biomaterial that has been used for more than 20 years in orthopedics, neurosurgery, orthodontics, ENT and ophthalmology.
Calcium hydroxyapatite is the main mineral component of bones and teeth. The semi-solid properties of hydroxyapatite are achieved by suspending hydroxyapatite in an excrete gel composed mainly of water (sterile water USP for injection) and glycerin (USP).
The gel structure was obtained by adding a small amount of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (USP). The gel disperses in the body and is replaced by soft tissue regeneration, while the hydroxyapatite calcium remains at the injection site. The effects of tissue recovery and fullness achieved, although long-term, are not permanent.
SANENDI Calcuim Hydroxyapatite Filler injectable implants are classified as Category 3 medical devices in Schedule 9 of the MDD.
SANENDI Calcuim Hydroxyapatite Filler 3.0cc, 1.5cc and 0.8cc injectable implants have particle sizes between 25 and 45 microns.
SANENDI Calcuim Hydroxyapatite Filler can be injected with a 25G outer diameter /27G inner diameter needle, or with a larger diameter needle compatible with a standard Ruhr joint. Using a needle with an internal diameter of less than 27 May increase the risk of needle blockage. SANENDI Calcuim Hydroxyapatite injectable implants are suitable for plastic and reconstructive surgery, including increasing the volume of facial soft tissue through subcutaneous or deep dermal injections. SANENDI Calcuim Hydroxyapatite Filler is also suitable for restoring and/or correcting signs of facial fat loss (fat atrophy) in people with HIV.
